Wangaratta Lions Club 20th Annual Swap Meet and Collectables Market Sunday 21st Nov 2021 - cancelled

Bad News - after looking good for a while, we regret to announce that the 2021 Wangaratta Swap Meet and Collectables Market has been cancelled due to ongoing COVID restrictions.

The event will not be going ahead on Sunday 21st November 2021.

Hopefully we will be able to hold it next year.

The 2019 Wangaratta Swap Meet and Collectables Market was held on Sunday Nov 24th 2019. A good crowd spent hours looking at, and purchasing from, the many siteholders in attendance, and having a good look at the vehicles in the show and shine events.

After hours picking up bargians, these people above took a break in the Lions shed, and enjoyed the food and drinks available.

Many took the opportunity very early in the day to sit down to a full breakfast of juice, cereal, bacon, sausage, rissole, egg and toast, with a cup of tea or coffee.

This Soviet IMZ-Ural was one of a number of motorbikes available for sale.

Its design is based on the late 1930's German BMW R71 motorbike, and these were used extensively by the Soviet military during the second world war, and following that, many were sold around the world.
